  • You must explain and introduce your new product or business clearly. The opening lines should be attractive but at the same time the reader must clearly know about what you are selling after reading the first few lines of the letter.
  • By your writing, you will have to make it clear to the client that how you are different from other companies and why the reader should invest in your business. It is better to explain the more concrete facts to impress the reader.
  • An introductory letter should not be long rather it should be short and comprehensive. Its length should not be more than one page. But if there is a need to enclose additional documents, you can add them.
  • An order form should be enclosed in your letter if you are selling a product or service. If it is not possible then you should at least provide some contact information to the client so that he can make an order or contact you for getting further information.
  • Basic business letter guidelines should also be followed. These guidelines include the correct use of grammar, punctuation and spellings and also putting space between the paragraphs but there is no need of indentation.
  • After writing the letter, you will require to print it and then mail it. Use company’s letterheads or envelopes to enclose the letter.  You can also use free envelope templates available on different sites and use them. It is very beneficial to use the templates as they give a more professional look to the letter.

Teaching the number writing to kids is not a simple and easy task. It requires lot of efforts and hard work on your part whether you are a teacher or parent of the child. Method to Write an External Memo

There are two types of memos named external and internal. Internal memos are used within the organization while external memos are those business letters that are sent to either individuals or companies outside the organization. It is an important business letter so an acceptable format should have to be adopted for making an external memo. The two acceptable formats are indented format while the second format is that which doesn’t use indentation. There are several other requirements that have to be fulfilled like external memo should be single-spaced and left justified. And its length should not be more than two pages. Other instructions for writing an external memo are as follows:

  • First of all you will have to take your company’s letterhead and insert it in the printer. If company’s letterhead is not available then you can either make it in MS Word or use letterhead templates. If you are unable to use any of the two options then you can type the sender’s address and information about contact at the top left side of the paper.
  • If you have used a letterhead then after that hit the space bar under the letterhead and if you are not using letterhead, then give a space after typing sender’s name. This is necessary because you are required to create a space break before typing further.
  • After that, you will type the date and press the space bar one more time to create a space break.
  • After typing the date, you are required to type the address of recipient. The address of the recipient is typed along the left margin of the memo.
  • After giving another space, select a salutation in order to greet the recipient. If you are unaware of the name of recipient, then the most acceptable wording which you can use is “to whom it may concern”.
  • Again hit the space bar to create space again. Now you will type the most important part of the external memo that is the body of the memo.  The style of writing should be quite professional and the body of the memo should be concise, clearly understandable and comprehensive.
  • Before writing the closing words of the memo, hit the space bar one more time. The most commonly used word is “thank you”. Remember to capitalize the first letter of the first word only.
  • Now you are required to press the space bar for four times to give more space. After that, type the sender’s name. The space between the closing of memo and sender’s name is necessary to leave the space for the actual signatures of sender of memo.

The preparations for the Chinese New Year start several days before the New Year day. Chinese New Year is celebrated on 26th January. It is a big event that is not only celebrated in China but it is celebrated all over the world. It provides a reason to make merry and cheer-up. So people celebrate New Year with special arrangements and ideas. Therefore, there are a lot of tasks that need to be done before the New Year day.   • The first task to be done is to clean your house. It is a part of preparation for the New Year celebrations. So you are required to remove clutter from your house and eliminate all the things associated with some negative feelings in the previous year. Clean your house thoroughly as it is said that cleanliness makes your house ready for good luck to come in. In order to get the good luck stay in your house, don’t sweep your house just after the New Year celebrations.
  • Before the New Year comes, make your relations better with your friends, relatives, colleagues and neighbors and let all the negative feelings get out of your heart. This will help you to start the New Year with new spirits and positive feelings for your loved ones. Moreover to start the New Year with a positive note, clear up all your debts. You will feel cheerful and happy after doing this.
  • To decorate house, buy some flowers and blooming trees such as lucky bamboo. People think that when a plant blooms on the New Year’s Day, it becomes a sign of god luck and affluence.
  • On the eve of New Year, arrange a family reunion dinner. This dinner can be arranged at home or in a restaurant. The reason behind this reunion dinner is that revival of family relations is an important element of this festivity.
  • Don’t forget to get the red lucky money envelopes. An easy way to get these envelopes is to download money envelope templates from a good site and get them printed. After having the envelopes, the next step is to insert money in them. Remember to insert money in even amount as gifts having even numbers are considered lucky but don’t use the number ‘4’ at the end as it represents death.
